Assessments and Exams
Assessment
and Exams are conducted on a regular
basis for all students. Each Campus conducts Half Yearly and Yearly
Exams along with a
comprehensive assessment program. Go to the Middle School or Senior
Campus pages to access the Assessment Policy and Schedules for each
Year group.
The Senior Campus
conducts rigorous assessment programs to meet Board of Studies
requirements for the School Certificate and Higher School
Certificate.
The Policy contains all relevant information and details.
Reports
Reports
are issued to all students twice a year. Refer to Middle School or
Senior Campus Calendars for more details.
Student Welfare
Student
Welfare is a fundamental concern on
both Campuses. The Middle School Campus operates a system of
"Teams" in all years. This allows more direct contact
between teachers and students so that relationships can be built. It
also serves to minimise the number of teachers that students have in
Year 7 as they make the transition to High School.
Attendance
Students are expected to
be at school and in every class every day. If absent from school, a
note explaining the reason/s for the absence must be brought in to
your roll call teacher on your return to school. Each Campus has
systems and processes to check on student attendance. The roll is
marked every day (at 8.20am on the Middle School Campus and after
Period 2 on the Senior Campus). The class roll is also marked every
lesson.
