Academy
The Senior Campus has
established a Sports Academy in Rugby League in 2004. Students are
invited to apply for selection in September each year. Currently,
there are 2 classes, one in Year 11 and one in Year 12.
The students complete
either the Sports Coaching Certificate 1 Vocational course or Sport,
Lifestyle and Recreation (Board of Studies course) and are required
to meet the outcomes and requirements of both of these courses.
There is an assessment program as well as half yearly and yearly or
Trial HSC Exams.
During the year,
students work towards completion of certificates in:
Students also become
involved in coaching teams or organising activities at Primary
School Gala Days on both campuses.
Our successful Open
Rugby League Team in 2005 received the University Plate and were the
best placed comprehensive High School in NSW!
